Formed in 1878 for the benefit of former pupils of Hurstpierpoint College, the Hurst Johnian Club is one of the oldest old pupils’ societies in the country. The Club’s aims are to enable members to keep in touch with each other and the school after they have left. The Hurst Johnian Club is also widely known as the OJ Club.

Ex Shield Housemaster Christopher Guise and OJ Brian Matthews (1951) both died at the end of April. The funeral of Christopher Guise will take place on Friday 18th May at noon in the Holy Trinity Church, Hurstpierpoint. |

APRIL 2012 | We were sad to learn that Adrian Culshaw (Director of Music of the Prep School 1978 - 1987) had died on Sunday evening, 15th April, aged 65. Adrian's funeral has been postponed and will now be at 1.30pm on Monday 21st May at Eastbourne Crematorium. |
